Construction – Rethink how you want to win at Federal contracting

All sessions are FREE

Tony Sieger took his business from $500k to $20 million dollars in less than 6 years with these steps. Now is your chance to learn from a successful construction contractor. He has carved time out of his schedule to assist other small business owners in construction Contracting. Additionally you will review ways to improve your proposal submissions.

This is a 2 hour in depth panel & one-on-one discussions.

Hear from a panel of experts about how to prepare, bid, and perform on government projects.
Network with other contractors to team up on larger projects. Following the panel, break out into core areas for in depth tailored discussions.

This training is for firms who are already bidding on government prime contracts or sub-contracts, have completed their CCR & ORCA registration, and have a general understanding of bidding and government contracting.

Time: 6:00 p.m. — 8:00 p.m.

Doing business with a foreign government or state-owned enterprise? The Advocacy Center helps to ensure that sales of U.S. products and services have the best possible chance competing abroad. If your company is interested in assistance, please join the US Export Assistance Center on Wednesday, July 14th, 2010 in welcoming Rick Hughes, Director of the US Commercial Service’s Advocacy Center for a roundtable discussion of their services.

The Advocacy Center helps qualifying companies secure government contracts across the globe by helping to develop and implement effective strategies. Assistance ranges from U.S. Embassy and Consulate assistance to Sub-Cabinet and Cabinet messages delivered through a variety of media. The Advocacy Center also works with Ex-Im Bank, the Trade and Development Agency and the Overseas Private Investment Corporation to marshal USG financial support.

The US Department of Commerce/Seattle US Export Assistance Center, Microsoft and Immigration and Customs Enforcement invite you to attend our annual event - Export Controls: Awareness and Application. The conference will be held at the Microsoft Conference Center, in Redmond, WA, September 8-9, 2010.

Do you need a firmer grasp of export controls and regulations to ensure your company is doing everything it can to comply with them?

Raise your awareness of export controls and regulations and learn techniques to apply in your processes to help ensure you can avoid violations.

Speakers will include representatives from the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls, Immigration and Customs Enforcement, the Bureau of Industry and Security, Dorsey Whitney, BAE, and Microsoft.
