Pease & Sons, Inc Sub-Bid Request for Water Station 9 Chemical Building – Vancouver, WA Bids Due: 3/23/2020 @ 11:00am PST

Project Description: This Contract provides for a new Chemical Building complete with functioning equipment to disinfect and
fluoridate an up to 16 MGD municipal drinking water production facility. The equipment includes items necessary
to provide & inject a low-strength, 0.8%, sodium hypochlorite solution and a 4% saturated, sodium fluoride
solution. Ancillary site work will be necessary to provide the building with security fencing, power, water, a
chemical injection vault, a grinder pump station for wastewater removal and an access road extension. A partial
components list of items to be installed includes an exterior brine storage tank, an interior sodium hypochlorite
storage tank, metering pumps for both solutions, fluoridation handling equipment and two on-site sodium
hypochlorite generation (SHG) systems. Estimated Value: $1.5 million, Contract Duration: 180 working days

 February 18, 2020 @ 2:00pm @ 14604 NE 39th St, Vancouver, WA. Proceed into the water station from
the only entrance on NE 39th St and park on a paved area so as not to block entrance.

Project Description:
Alterations and an addition to an existing 32,088 sqft, 3-story armory. The armory was originally built in 1938. The 3-story (1,200 total sqft) addition is being constructed to provide an accessible route to all floors of the bldg. Includes the elevator/ramp & stair addition and storm sewer serving it. Utility improvements include refeeding the bldg with 3-phase power. Installation of a new undergound fire water supply and domestic water service crossing Byrd St. Retrofitting the bldg with automatic sprinkler and fire alarm and detection systems. Replacement of the windows and entry assemblies. Alterations to the basement together with mech and elec improvements to support the addition and altered spaces. Limited structural repairs at east window heads. Finish repairs to entry stair wall and landings and the replacement of the guards and handrails.
Estimated Value: $2.995 – $3.310 million
