Kiewit is soliciting subcontractor bids and material quotes from subcontractors and suppliers, including all types of qualified Small Business and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises concerns for the following project:

JBER Runway 16/34 Extension requires the construction of two supporting taxiways, shoulders, overrun, and an EOR/arm disarm pad. In addition, the extension involves rerouting Airlifter Drive to the north and updating additional airfield lighting per UFC 3-535-01.

Services and supplies being solicited include: Aggregate Processing, Asphalt Paving, Clearing/Grubbing, Concrete (Curb/Gutter, Finishing, Batching, Sawcut), Construction Survey, Demolition, Airfield Electrical Installation,  Fencing, Landscaping, Pavement Markings, Trucking, Utilities Installation

In order to assist certified Small Business and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises contractors and suppliers, where feasible we will divide items of work into smaller tasks or quantities and establish delivery and construction schedules which will permit maximum participation of Small and Disadvantaged Businesses.

All subcontractors and material suppliers are required to execute our standard “Subcontract Agreement” or “Material Contract”.  We require 100% Performance and Payment, or Supply Bonds.  If you have questions regarding these contract agreements, please contact us for a copy.
